Active Members Active church members are those that attend church. And there is no such thing as an inactive church member. Church members believe and understand the gospel. They are trusting and placing all of their stock in Christ alone for everything and they are spending their life repenting of their sins and becoming what mankind was meant to be. Mankind, as stewards of creation, is meant to take care of the earth and rule over it. We do serve this function in the context of a community-a plurality of persons who are united and one. This is the way that we exist in God's image.
